This hotel is by far one of my faves if not my favorite in the upper North Island. It's actually the staff here that make the difference in a great experience of somewhere to stay. Kat and Amber are who I'm lucky enough to usually have check me in and honestly these two woman are just absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is right in the heart of Tuakau. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms have great showers and the beds are lush as. The complimentary cookies I'm a sucker for but even the mini bar items are great as well. Each room is well equipped to meet one's needs while staying.

So nice to be back at the Tuakau Hotel. I am always well looked after here. It always is an absolute pleasure staying here. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival to a room upgrade which I absolutely appreciated. Had issues with the wifi signal in the room and wasn't able to connect, but it didn't affect my overall stay for the night. Always a pleasure seeing the girls in reception upon check in. Thank you Amber for the super easy a hassle free check in. I always get so excited to check in and set my things up like I'm moving in that I always forget to take photos of how nice the rooms are.

So grateful to the lovely lady who checked me into the hotel. Her attention to care of those checking in went above and beyond. I really appreciated her exceptional service, wonderful smile and actually giving a shit about a complete stranger. I wish I took the time to ask her name. Her empathetic nature is rare and hard to find these days especially in this industry. The room was awesome. The beds here are so comfortable that you don't want to get out of bed. The complimentary cookies I really liked. Great shower pressure and overall just a really great place to stay.

Free wifi, complimentary cookies, great shower pressure, sky tv with all channels, and great mini bar options at an affordable price. There's also the bar & restaurant downstairs which have good meal options too. So central and walking distance to everything in Tuakau township. But the beds here are so comfortable I generally struggle to get up as I just want to stay lying in that comfort.

Fitted with a bench top element, toaster & a microwave perfect for those wanting to prepare a meal instead of dining out or ordering takeout. Like the other rooms the bathroom facilities are great, beds are super comfortable great pillows. Parking right at the door as well. Overall this hotel never fails to please.
